Mathews Market Days celebrates 51 years in 2025!

Mathews Market Days is an annual festival held the first Friday and Saturday after Labor Day. We invite locals, visitors, guests, family, and friends to join us as we share the showcase of a creative community. Arts & crafts, food, and informational vendors will be in attendance alongside live music each day, a children’s area and an annual car show on Saturday. Grab some dinner from our food vendors and enjoy Saturday night’s street dance. We hope to see you there!

Good evening!! Only 3 more days! We can’t wait to see everyone. There will be parking available along the roadside both days on a first come first served basis. There will be parking at Mathews High School and Mathews Elementary School with a shuttle Saturday ONLY. Handicap parking will be available both days at Central Methodist Church located at 121 Church Street. We are happy to answer any questions, please message us!

This annual event features selected local and neighboring artists, craftsmen, craftswomen, musicians, and performers who share their talents for the enjoyment of residents, friends, family, guests, and visitors.

Mathews Market Days is an event held by the Mathews Market Days Committee, a group of volunteers who spend the year planning this annual event since its inception in 1974.

2025 Mathews Market Days will be held Friday, September 5th and Saturday, September 6th. This year’s event theme is “Bibs & Boots.“
